Debra Kerby

After earning her MBA from the University of Edinburgh, Debra cut her teeth in brand management and sales with Labatt Breweries of Canada and Warner Lambert Healthcare. She then got a taste of the motivational communications world, serving as a Vice President with the Mariposa Communications Group in Toronto.

In 1997, with an eye towards adding a fuller set of Scrabble letters after her name, Debra enrolled at the London School of Economics and Political Science to pursue an MSc in International Development Management.

Cocktail party conversation starters that Debra can draw upon include her experiences working with the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs, Industry and Trade; the Bolivian Vice-Ministry of Micro Enterprise and Development; CSR Europe, and Canadian Business for Social Responsibility.

Prior to joining Wynford, Debra was Chief Program and Policy Officer & Executive Director for Right To Play, an international humanitarian organization that emphasizes sports to aid the development of children and youth in underprivileged areas of the world.

Debra is fond of dogs, chocolates and wide-open spaces (preferably populated by the occasional dog or chocolate).
